The revised Regional Core Child Protection Policies and Procedures were launched by the SBNI on 28 November 2017.
It is important that children and young people are prevented from experiencing child abuse in the first place, as well staff knowing how to respond to abuse when it occurs. The revised core child protection policies and procedures aim to help professionals and agencies to work more effectively in protecting children and young people from abuse or neglect.
Ms Bernie McNally, Independent Chair of the SBNI said:
“For the first time, the Core Child Protection Policies and Procedures are on an e-based platform and can be accessed on-line by professionals and families from mobile devices, phones and tablets”.
Further information will follow.
